Robert Edwin Witters Scholarship

The Robert Edwin Witters Scholarship supports undergraduate students at Eastern Illinois University who are pursuing studies in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in plant sciences. Recipients must be U.S. citizens accepted as full-time students with a declared major in Biological Sciences and a minimum GPA of 3.0. The scholarship gives preference to candidates involved in undergraduate research and those planning a career in teaching and/or scientific research. Financial need is also a consideration in the selection process. The award is announced in the Spring and awarded in the following Fall and Spring semesters.
