Robert Frederking Engage North Engineering Award

The Robert Frederking Engage North Engineering Award is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing entering any year of study in an undergraduate or graduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta. The award gives preference to students in the Engage North Fellowship program. Students in an Engineering Cooperative Education Program in an isolated community as defined by the Prescribed Northern Zone (Zone A) will also be considered if there are no other suitable candidates. This endowed award was established through funds provided by Robert M W Frederking to support engineering students, particularly those engaged in northern community placements or cooperative education programs.
