Robert Graves Art Scholarship

This scholarship is given in the name of Robert Graves, a college professor at Wenatchee Valley College, an extraordinary artist, and a community arts advocate. Robert was especially passionate about ensuring that young people had every opportunity to pursue their dreams as creative people. Throughout his life Robert would help art students in various ways - through mentoring, providing art supplies, or connecting them with experiences to highlight their work. The Robert Graves family hopes that every time the recipient creates art, they will be aware that they are adding something beautiful to a world that is hungry for their gifts. The scholarship is awarded to students demonstrating hard work and dedication to visual arts, recognizing that creative expression is a vital part of every healthy community.
