About this opportunity
The Robert H. and Patricia A. Ruf Scholarship is awarded to one or more rising sophomore, junior, or senior students majoring in one of the life, environmental, or agricultural sciences on the Amherst campus. Dr. Ruf '52AS, '55 and Mrs. Ruf established the scholarship after Dr. Ruf's retirement from running a successful landscape and gardening center following his career in teaching. This scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate students pursuing studies in fields related to life sciences, environmental sciences, or agricultural sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
