Robert L. and Pauline H. Minton Memorial Scholarship Fund

This scholarship fund was established by the children of Pauline H. Minton as a way to honor and memorialize their mother and step-father, Robert L. Minton. Robert and Pauline were both single parents working at Battelle when they met, fell in love, and later married. Both worked at Battelle for over 30 years and were married for almost 25 years. The scholarship supports children or legal dependents of full-time Battelle Memorial Institute staff who are single parents. Candidates must be enrolled part-time or full-time at any public or nonprofit independent college or university in the United States. This scholarship provides financial assistance to help students from single-parent families pursue their higher education goals.
