About This Opportunity
The Roberta E McKown Prize in Political Science is awarded annually to a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with the highest grade point average in Political Science courses. The award requires a minimum GPA of 3.5 calculated on the basis of all political science courses taken as part of the Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Alberta. In the event of a tie, the award shall be split between the students. This prize was established through endowed funds by the family and friends of the late Roberta E McKown, who was a past Chair of the Department of Political Science. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application and do not need to submit a separate application.
