Roberta Z. and Robert J. Muir Award in Memory of Madelyn Coates

The Roberta Z. and Robert J. Muir Award in Memory of Madelyn Coates was established in 2021 by Mrs. Roberta Z. Muir, BA '71 and Mr. Robert J. Muir in memory of Madelyn Coates. This award is designed to support undergraduate students majoring in the School of Nursing at the University at Buffalo. The award recognizes students who demonstrate both financial need and high academic merit. Recipients must complete the FAFSA to demonstrate financial need. A distinctive feature of this award is that it may be used towards experiential learning opportunities, providing students with practical experience in nursing.
