About This Opportunity
The Robertson Trust Scholarship is an exciting opportunity that provides comprehensive funding and support throughout undergraduate studies at the University of St Andrews. The Robertson Trust, Scotland's largest and most influential charitable trust, was founded in 1961 and now donates over £15 million annually to charities across Scotland. This prestigious scholarship offers up to £4,400 per year in bursary support, jointly funded by the University of St Andrews (50%) and the Robertson Trust (50%). The scholarship provides far more than just financial assistance. It includes access to paid internships during and after studies, continuous support throughout the undergraduate program, and assistance in developing employability post-graduation. Recipients join an exclusive network of young Scots maintained by the Robertson Trust, offering support well beyond graduation through the Journey to Success programme. Applicants must be resident in Scotland at the time of application and have attended school in Scotland. They must be between 16-25 years old, accessing undergraduate study, not already hold a degree, and be eligible for Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) funding. Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria. The award is paid annually for the duration of the undergraduate programme.
