About This Opportunity
The Robertson Trust Scholarship is part of the Journey to Success programme that provides financial support and self-development opportunities to young people aged 16-25 in Scotland who face barriers to higher education. Since 1992, the programme has supported over 1,000 young people to overcome financial and social barriers to gain the university education and career they aspire to. Each year, over 700 young people, known as Robertson scholars, are supported through this programme in a broad range of subjects across Scotland's universities. The scholarship is designed specifically for Scottish residents who face various challenges including coming from schools with low progression rates to higher education, households with low income, being from Black and Minority Ethnic groups, having disabilities, lived experience of care, being carers, estranged from family, or belonging to Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.
