About this opportunity
Thanks to funding from Rochdale Borough Council Public Health team, Action Together is offering micro grants of up to £1,000 to help the VCFSE sector to support individuals, families and communities in the Rochdale Borough. As there are limited funds, priority is given to micro and small groups. The grants support projects that fall within two key priorities: (1) Challenging poverty and driving equality - including providing practical support, advice or peer support to help people get back on their feet, reducing inequalities, and strengthening community voice and action; and (2) Promoting health and wellbeing - enabling communities to support their social, mental and physical wellbeing, challenging health inequalities through work with marginalised groups, and building strong relationships within and across communities. This is a quarterly rolling programme that pauses when quarterly funding is allocated and reopens the following quarter.
