About this opportunity
The Rochdale Recovery Micro Fund through Rochdale Borough Council is a fund to invest in and strengthen Rochdale Borough's Recovery VCFSE sector. It funds groups and projects which directly benefit local people and communities, delivered by VCFSE organisations/individuals with roots in the borough. The fund can support groups/individuals to try out a new project or sustain one that already exists. This funding is part of the Rochdale Recovery Community and is only available to small groups/individuals based in Rochdale who are associated with the Rochdale Recovery Communities Partnership and unconstituted. The priorities focus on creating a visible and positive recovery community, recognizing the importance of early intervention for substance and alcohol use, ending stigma for people who use substances and alcohol, raising awareness of associated issues in a non-stigmatising way, and widening support available for people in recovery while creating shared opportunities for learning and engagement within the wider community.
