About this opportunity
The Rodney Fitch Bursary of £3,000 is available to 1 Home student currently enrolled on the first year of the MA Industrial Design course at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. The bursary will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit. It will provide a contribution towards course costs and living expenses for the length of the course. Rodney Arthur Fitch (1938-2014) was a retail design entrepreneur who studied architecture and building, furniture, interior and theatre design at various London colleges of art and design, including Central Saint Martins. In 1972 Rodney founded his firm, Fitch and Company Design Consultants, which as Fitch grew to become one of the largest and best-known design brands. Rodney had a commitment to education and was influential on advisory and trustee boards including St Martins School of Art and University of the Arts London. Applications are welcome from those who are in financial hardship and those who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential.
