Roger Downer Entrance Award in Biology

The Roger Downer Entrance Award in Biology provides financial support to undergraduate students entering Year One in the Faculty of Science at the University of Waterloo who are interested in majoring in Biology. One or more awards valued at up to $4,000 each are awarded annually to eligible candidates. This entrance bursary is designed to support students with demonstrated financial need who are pursuing life sciences studies. Recipients must be Ontario residents and have achieved a minimum admission average of 80%. The award recognizes both academic merit and financial need, helping to make post-secondary education more accessible to qualified students beginning their university studies in the biological sciences.
