About this opportunity
The Roger S Smith Undergraduate Student Research Award is awarded to undergraduate students at Campus Saint-Jean, University of Alberta, who have satisfactory academic standing and are entering the second or subsequent year of their undergraduate degree. This award is specifically designed to cultivate and support research partnerships between undergraduate students and faculty members in disciplines fundable by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). The funding provides support for 15 weeks of research-based activity conducted during the summer period from May to August. Students must not have completed their degree requirements prior to the commencement of the research term. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application within the university's scholarship system.
