About this opportunity
The Roger S Smith Undergraduate Student Research Award is designed to cultivate and support research partnerships between undergraduate students and faculty members in SSHRC fundable disciplines within the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta. This award provides funding for 15 weeks of research-based activity from May to August, enabling students to engage in meaningful research experiences during the summer months. The award is available to students with satisfactory academic standing who are entering the second or subsequent year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. Students must not have completed their degree requirements prior to the commencement of the research term, ensuring that the award supports students who are actively pursuing their undergraduate studies while gaining valuable research experience.
