About this opportunity
The Roger S Smith Undergraduate Student Research Award supports undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta to engage in research partnerships with faculty members. This award is specifically designed to cultivate and support research collaborations in SSHRC fundable disciplines (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council eligible fields). The funding provides support for 15 weeks of research-based activity conducted during the summer period from May to August. Recipients must be entering their second or subsequent year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Arts and maintain satisfactory academic standing. Students must not have completed their degree requirements prior to the start of the research term.
