Ronald and Ruth Burwash Scholarship

The Ronald and Ruth Burwash Scholarship is an annual scholarship awarded to students with superior academic achievement in an honors or specialization program in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Alberta entering their second year. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic excellence on a full-normal course load, with particular emphasis on performance in the required first-year English course or approved equivalent. This endowed scholarship was established by Ronald and Ruth Burwash to support outstanding students pursuing studies in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
