About this opportunity

This scholarship was established in 2011 to honor the life of Ronald Dean Estes, a lifetime resident of Wenatchee who had his own law practice in Wenatchee for 30 years. The scholarship supports graduating seniors from Chelan or Douglas County, or graduating seniors from Ritzville High School in Adams County, who demonstrate a hunger for learning and show strong leadership skills. Priority is given to first generation college students who meet the eligibility criteria, including financial need, minimum 2.5 GPA, history of working or participation in school sports, events, church activities, and maintaining a 90% attendance record during the school calendar year. Recipients must be accepted into a college, university, or trade school in the United States.
