Rosa Stephansson-Benediktson Scholarship in Comparative Literature

The Rosa Stephansson-Benediktson Scholarship in Comparative Literature is awarded to a student who is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with superior academic achievement enrolled in the third year of a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Cultural Studies. Selection is based on academic achievement, commitment to community life, and demonstrated excellence in Comparative Literature coursework. This endowed scholarship was established by the family of Rosa Stephansson-Benediktson in honor of the Icelandic-Canadian poet, Stephen G Stephansson, to assist deserving students in the field of literature at the University of Alberta.
