Rosemary Airey Scholarship

University of St Andrews Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Rosemary Airey Scholarship was established by a generous donation from Rosemary Airey 1955 to support students from the rest of the UK in their studies at St Andrews. The scholarship forms part of the Wardlaw Scholarship scheme, established in 2004 to provide financial assistance to academically gifted students who would otherwise struggle with the cost of studying at the University of St Andrews. The award provides £1,000 per year paid as maintenance but can be used towards University accommodation fees. Maintenance is paid in ten monthly instalments directly to the student's bank account from September to May, with a double payment in February. This award is paid annually for the duration of the student's undergraduate programme and is available to students from England, Wales, and Northern Ireland studying at the University of St Andrews. Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria.
