Rotary District 9780 Scholarships

The Rotary District 9780 Scholarships are awarded to students enrolled at Federation University Australia. These scholarships are funded by Rotary International District 9780, which encompasses 58 clubs located in south-west Victoria and south-east South Australia. Each year Rotarians donate to the Rotary Foundation from which funds are made available for sustainable international and local projects, including scholarships for students at local universities. The scholarships are valued at $1,000 each and are available to domestic students from regional Victoria areas. Four scholarships are available annually for students studying at certificate, diploma, bachelor, or honours level in either higher education or TAFE sectors. The scholarships are open to both new/commencing and continuing students at the Ballarat location. The Rotary District 9780 Scholarships were first awarded in 2018 and have been provided with outstanding success since then. These scholarships reflect Rotary International's dedication to making the world a better place through lasting change by supporting education and helping students achieve their academic goals.
