About this opportunity
In collaboration with the Cambridge Trust 'Rowan Williams Cambridge Studentship' programme, Girton College offers two co-funded PhD and Masters studentships for entry in 2026. The Rowan Williams Cambridge Studentship supports students who face severe barriers in coming to study in Cambridge. Applicants should be from an area of instability or zone of conflict and, or have been, at risk of discrimination, persecution, suffering, violence or other abuse of their human rights. The successful candidates will become members of Girton College. The studentship covers home and international fees as well as maintenance support for the duration of the course. Trust scholarships do not automatically fund the optional writing-up period, but scholars may apply for a brief period of extension funding if required at the end of their scholarship.
