About this opportunity
The Rowan Williams Cambridge Studentship is a programme established by the Cambridge Trust to support students who face severe barriers in coming to study in Cambridge. It is available to applicants at all levels, in any subject, and is tenable at any College. Applicants should be from an area of instability or zone of conflict and/or have been at risk of discrimination, persecution, suffering, violence or other abuse of their human rights. The studentship is available to overseas applicants and those already in the UK, including those who are seeking asylum or who have Refugee status. The award covers full tuition fees for both home and international students, maintenance costs, and other allowances such as travel, visa, and Immigration Health Surcharge costs considered on a need basis. Approximately 10 awards are available annually.

Awards are made on the basis of academic merit and financial need including hardship. The Trust's awards period runs from the beginning of March to the end of July and is an ongoing process throughout that period.
