About This Opportunity
The Roy Hennessy Memorial Scholarship honors Roy Hennessy, who was a fixture in Vancouver area radio for twenty years and had a distinguished broadcast career across Canada including Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg and Toronto. Roy passed away in June 2022 but is fondly remembered by industry friends and listeners across the country. The scholarship is available to second-year students enrolled in the Media Communications and Production – Radio and Media Production program at NAIT. It is awarded on the basis of excellent academic achievement in the first year of the program. Students are automatically considered for this award with no application required.
