R.R. Humphrey and Stuart L. Vaughan Nu Sigma Nu Alumni Fund

The R.R. Humphrey and Stuart L. Vaughan Nu Sigma Nu Alumni Fund was established in 1979 and revised in 2016 by Buffalo Nu Sigma Nu to provide the James A. Gibson-Wayne J. Atwell Annual Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to first year medical students enrolled in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. The award recognizes the student who demonstrates the highest level of proficiency in the field of anatomy studies. This scholarship supports exceptional academic achievement in foundational medical sciences, particularly anatomy, which is critical to medical education and practice.
