About this opportunity
The Rt Hon Doug Anthony AC, CH, FTSE Scholarship supports students experiencing financial hardship who are enrolled at the School of Agriculture and Food Sustainability or UQ Skills at the University of Queensland. Established in 2018 by Rt Hon Doug Anthony AC, CH, FTSE, an alumni of Gatton College and recipient of the 1985 Council Gold Medal, the scholarship aims to assist students in their agricultural studies. The scholarship is awarded based on financial need, academic achievement, and the strength of the applicant's personal statement. Recipients must be currently enrolled full-time in approved programs at UQ. The scholarship provides $6,000 for one year, with at least one award available annually, pending fund availability.
