Ruby B. Dean Memorial Nursing Scholarship

The Ruby B. Dean Memorial Nursing Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the Associate of Applied Science Program in Nursing at Tarrant County College. This scholarship is designed to support nursing students throughout their program, providing financial assistance for tuition and educational expenses. The scholarship is renewable for the duration of the nursing program if academic requirements are maintained. Preference is given to applicants demonstrating financial need based on federal or state guidelines, though it may be awarded on a merit basis if no applicants with financial need apply. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and enroll in at least 7 credit hours per semester (4 credit hours in summer). The scholarship covers fall, spring, and summer semesters for the entire duration of the nursing program, providing consistent support for students pursuing their nursing education.
