Rudolph D. Anfinson Scholarship

The Rudolph D. Anfinson Scholarship recognizes outstanding Eastern Illinois University students who demonstrate excellence in both academic achievement and extracurricular involvement outside of intercollegiate athletics. This scholarship is awarded to junior, senior, or graduate students who maintain at least a B average and show outstanding character whose actions reflect positively on EIU and its students. Recipients must display a combination of scholastic and extracurricular achievements in areas such as student government, student publications, international relations, minority affairs, and other activities excluding intercollegiate athletics. Financial need is a consideration in the selection process. The award is announced in the Spring semester and paid in the Fall semester. This scholarship honors students who are well-rounded and actively engaged in campus life beyond the classroom and athletic fields.
