About this opportunity
The Rural Grant provides financial assistance to students from farming backgrounds who are relocating from rural or regional areas to study at RMIT University. This one-off grant of up to $5,000 is designed to help ease the financial burden faced by students transitioning from farming families to urban campuses in Melbourne or Bendigo. Since 1994, an anonymous donor has provided funding to assist students with farming backgrounds to complete their programs at RMIT, recognizing the unique difficulties that these students face when relocating to study. The grant aims to support students experiencing financial hardship and help them focus on their educational goals without the stress of financial concerns.
