Rural King Full-Ride Scholarship

The Rural King Full-Ride Scholarship is designed for Rural King employees or their dependents who are attending Eastern Illinois University. This last-dollar scholarship covers any remaining tuition and fees (up to the estimated costs for 15 credit hours) after other scholarships and awards have been applied, as well as room and board up to the all-access meal plan for on-campus residents. Recipients must demonstrate alignment with Rural King values including People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement. The scholarship requires full-time enrollment and is renewable for up to 4 years (8 semesters) with continuous full-time enrollment and maintaining a 2.5 GPA. Recipients must have filed a FAFSA or Illinois Alternative Application, been employed or have a parent employed at Rural King for at least 60 days, and have an Adjusted Gross Income of less than $100,000. If tuition, fees, room and board are already covered by other scholarships, recipients may receive $2,000 for remaining costs if there is room in their cost of attendance.
