About this opportunity
The Russel Jordan Memorial Scholarship in Petroleum Engineering is awarded annually to a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with superior academic achievement residing in Alberta and entering fourth year in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Alberta. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic standing, demonstrated leadership qualities, and involvement in amateur sports. If there are no suitable candidates entering fourth year, those entering third year may be considered. This endowed scholarship was established by the family and friends of the late Russel Jordan, a 1982 Petroleum Engineering graduate from the University of Alberta, to honor his memory and support outstanding students in the petroleum engineering field.
