Ruth C. Boyd Cook Memorial Award

The Ruth C. Boyd Cook Memorial Award is a merit-based scholarship awarded to outstanding students in the College of Fine Arts at Eastern Illinois University who have completed at least one year of study in the field of painting. The award recognizes excellence in painting and is in no way based on financial need. Students are automatically considered for this award upon completion of the General Application through the university's scholarship portal. The award is announced and paid during the spring semester.
