Ruth Kelly Memorial Scholarship

The Ruth Kelly Memorial Scholarship is available to a first year student in the Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management programs at NAIT. The award is granted on the basis of top academic achievement in the first semester. Students are automatically considered for this award and no application is required. Ruth Kelly, CEO of Venture Publishing, was an accomplished woman in the Edmonton Business community. She ran both a business magazine and a publishing company and was respected for her leadership in the community, receiving a number of awards and accolades. Ruth received an honorary degree from NAIT and was honored with a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. Ruth passed away in 2017, and this award has been established in her memory to support exceptional students in business and technology management programs.
