Ruth S. Fleming Scholarship

The Ruth S. Fleming Scholarship is an award given to second year veterinary students who have demonstrated outstanding ability, as well as a deep and abiding love and concern for the care and well-being of animals. This competitive scholarship is administered through Virginia Tech's Veterinary Medicine program and is designed to support exceptional students pursuing their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. Recipients are selected based on their demonstrated commitment to animal welfare, academic excellence, and professional potential in veterinary medicine. The scholarship provides financial assistance to help offset educational costs during the second year of veterinary school.
