About this opportunity
The Ruthann Geer Cum Laude Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for students at Tarrant County College who plan to pursue an associate degree followed by enrollment in a four-year institution. The scholarship requires recipients to maintain strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.4 for current TCC students or 3.9 for first-time students from high school. Recipients must be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) and complete at least 20 hours of community service during each semester. Preference is given to students attending the Southeast Campus. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient maintains a minimum 3.4 GPA, completes at least 12 credit hours in the fall, and provides verification of completed community service to the Foundation Office.
