Rutherford Memorial Medal in English

The Rutherford Memorial Medal in English is offered to a student of superior academic achievement graduating from the Honors English program at the University of Alberta. Recipients must have achieved at least first class standing. This award was established by the late Mrs Cecil Rutherford of Edmonton in memory of the late Honorable Alexander Cameron Rutherford and continues to be funded by Mr Harwood McCuaig, son of Mrs Hazel Rutherford McCuaig. The medal is awarded through the Faculty of Arts to recognize exceptional academic excellence in English studies.
