S. Aitken Graduate Award

The S. Aitken Graduate Award provides financial support to Indigenous women graduate students enrolled in the School of Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria. One or more awards are given annually to eligible students who meet the criteria. The award recognizes and supports Indigenous women pursuing graduate-level studies in environmental fields. Recipients are selected based on nominations from the School of Environmental Studies and approval by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee. The award is intended for full-time graduate students who maintain an A- average or higher.
