S. V. Hillis Memorial Scholarship

The S. V. Hillis Memorial Scholarship was established by Bryan Hillis, Professor and former Dean of Luther College, and James Hillis, Men's Basketball head coach, to recognize and reward athletic achievement with the Men's Basketball athletic program, providing post-secondary education financial assistance to an entering or continuing University of Regina Canadian Interuniversity Sport Men's Basketball student athlete. The scholarship is available to both undergraduate and graduate student-athletes who participate in the University of Regina Men's Basketball program. For graduate students, entering candidates must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 70% from their previous undergraduate academic year, while continuing graduate students must be in good standing with satisfactory achievement in coursework and appropriate progress toward completion of research requirements. Recipients must be fully qualified students as per the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research standards.
