The Saddle Lake Steinhauer Entrance Scholarship is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta. Recipients are selected on the basis of demonstrated community service with or among Indigenous peoples. Preference is given to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2).
