Salomon H. Flores Memorial Scholarship

The Salomon H. Flores Memorial Scholarship is awarded to select School of Education undergraduate and/or international students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA and maintain academic merit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. The scholarship prioritizes students with a demonstrated passion for careers promoting bilingual education for Spanish-speaking communities, engagement with or service to organizations serving Latino/Latina/Hispanic communities, enrollment in the Bilingual Education PK-12 minor within the School of Education, or enrollment in the Community Engagement and Education program within the School of Education. The award amount varies and is administered through the UWM Foundation.
