Salvatore and Maria Torre Scholarship Fund

The Salvatore and Maria Torre Scholarship Fund was established in 2016 by Dr. Nelson P. Torre, MD, BS '56, and Mrs. Joyce Torre to support PharmD students at the University at Buffalo. This scholarship is specifically designed to assist students enrolled in the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences who demonstrate financial need and academic achievement. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 or higher and complete the FAFSA to demonstrate financial need. The scholarship gives preference to first-generation college students, reflecting the donors' commitment to supporting students who are the first in their families to pursue higher education. The award amount varies based on available funding and the number of qualified applicants.
