About this opportunity

The Sam Papasavas Scholarship is designed to support current or former refugee students at RMIT University who are pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree. This scholarship recognizes the unique challenges faced by refugees and aims to reduce financial barriers to education. The scholarship provides significant financial support of up to $10,000 per year for the standard duration of the recipient's program, with a maximum value of $50,000. Applicants must demonstrate both financial hardship and circumstances that impact their ability to study, such as disability, personal difficulties, coming from a rural or regional area, non-English speaking background, or having recently migrated to Australia. The scholarship is available to both full-time students and part-time students in exceptional circumstances, and requires at least one year of full-time study remaining in the program.
