Samuel J. Goldstein, Esquire, Scholarship Fund

The Samuel J. Goldstein, Esquire, Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to benefit students from Allegheny County and contiguous counties who are planning to attend or already attend law school in Pennsylvania. This single-year scholarship supports students pursuing legal education with a preference given to applicants who draw upon Jewish teachings in their worldview. The award varies in amount and previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. The scholarship is specifically designed to support law students from six Pennsylvania counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Washington, and Westmoreland counties.
