Sandra K. Lacey Scholarship

The Sandra K. Lacey Scholarship was established to honor Sandra K. Lacey (1945-2018), who had a big and loving heart for Deaf children. She was instrumental in gathering resources and planning numerous events for deaf children attending the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind and devoted her time to other humanitarian works. Sandra wanted to offer extra funds to help Deaf children and Adults of all ages to have the education and job skills necessary to live their lives creatively and independently. The scholarship fund continues her legacy by providing financial support to deaf individuals seeking education and job training. This opportunity is administered by the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation and is designed to empower deaf individuals to live creatively and independently through education and skill development.
