Sanjel Energy Services Award

The Sanjel Energy Services Award is awarded to students who identify as female or a gender minority with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second or subsequent years of an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Computing Science, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Mathematical and Statistical Sciences or Physics. Selection is based on academic standing, indicated financial need and demonstrated community involvement. Preference is given to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) and/or students who identify as members of a Visible Minority. The award is provided through annual funds by Sanjel Energy Services and is open to continuing students in the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta.
