About This Opportunity

The Santa Singh and Balwant Kaur Scholarship for Palestine Women provides financial support to women who were born in Palestine, Gaza Strip, or West Bank and are enrolling in vocational education or undergraduate programs at RMIT University. Established by Pretam Kaur in memory of her parents, the scholarship aims to contribute to positive change in the community by assisting women from Palestine reach their scholastic and career aims. The scholarship is designed for students facing various circumstances that impact their ability to study, including those receiving government-tested low income benefits, having long-term medical conditions or disabilities, experiencing personal difficulties, or coming from underrepresented backgrounds such as refugees or non-English speaking backgrounds. Recipients must demonstrate challenges they face in their studies and how the scholarship will help overcome these obstacles.
