Santander Travel Fund

The University of Northampton, in partnership with Santander, offers funding to support students wishing to undertake an international visit or project. The fund is designed to help students improve their education, employability or entrepreneurship through international experiences. Applications are accepted from all current University of Northampton students, with particular interest in students who have encountered barriers to study and can demonstrate how this opportunity will benefit themselves and the University. Funding can be used for travel (economy only), accommodation, subsistence and other necessary costs for an overseas visit. Eligible activities include independent study visits linked to a field of study or research, international placements, internships, or opportunities linked to study or career ambitions, and enterprising activities linked to business aspirations. The fund cannot cover study or field trips organized by the university, travel within the UK, or travel to a student's country of nationality. The application process is managed through the University's international office, with applications opening annually during the academic year.
