About this opportunity
The University of Strathclyde partners with Santander Universities to offer six scholarships worth £5,000 each to support widening access and refugee/humanitarian protection status students during the 2025/26 academic year. These scholarships are designed to ease education-related costs, including tuition fees, course materials, accommodation, and career development opportunities. The scholarships are open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in any year of study who meet specific widening access criteria. Eligibility includes students in receipt of various SAAS bursaries, those from low-income households, students receiving means-tested benefits, those from the most deprived areas (SIMD Quintile 1), or students with refugee or humanitarian protection status. The scholarships are available across all subject areas offered by the university and are open to full-time home fee status students aged 18 or over.
