Santos Engineering Scholarship

The Santos Engineering Scholarship was established in 2020 and is maintained by an annual gift from Santos Limited. This scholarship supports domestic students enrolled full-time in engineering programs at the University of Queensland. The scholarship provides $10,000 for one year to one student who has completed between 12-27 units towards their approved engineering program. The scholarship aims to recognize academic excellence and support diversity in engineering education, with preference given to students studying mechanical or chemical engineering specializations and female applicants. Selection is based on academic achievement, personal qualities including leadership potential, community service and engagement, and other factors relevant to future academic success in the engineering profession.
