About this opportunity
As a disabled alum of the School of Media and Information Technology at NAIT, this grant was created to give back to a program that kickstarted the founder's career and helped them grow—both personally and professionally. The grant recognizes the incredible creativity, resilience, and talent that disabled students bring to this field, and aims to help empower them to pursue their passions and contribute to a more inclusive and diverse industry—one that truly benefits from their unique perspectives. The grant is available to students with a prolonged or persistent disability entering into any full-time program in the School of Media and Information Technology. Awards are made on the basis of a written statement detailing the applicant's personal journey to post-secondary education. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.
